Board of Directors
The Board of Directors meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm at the synagogue, 19357 Evergreen Mills Road, Leesburg, Virginia. You may contact our Officers and Chairpeople through e-mail.
Elections are held every year in May for the officers and chairpersons, who are elected for a one-year term which begins July 1. View officer position descriptions
All Jewish members of Congregation Sha’are Shalom (in good financial standing with the congregation), may be elected to, or serve on, the Board of Directors. Any adult household member, Jewish or non-Jewish, may serve as volunteers within any committee.
The Board of Directors is responsible for the operation and activities of the congregation under the terms of our By-Laws and Constitution. The board meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm. Board meetings are open to all members of the congregation.
